The Cast
Christmas at Eastwood is made up of a completely volunteer cast of singers and crew members, some of whom have participated in the show since its beginning in 2004 as well as members who joined the cast for the first time in 2015.
Christmas at Eastwood is created and directed by Terry Hale who has been the music director at Eastwood Baptist Church for the past 31 years. Terry also sings and plays piano in the show.
Terry is joined by two other original cast members for the 2016 show. Doug Braziel, a singer in the show, is also responsible for the electrical work and lighting effects in the show. Clay Reeves is also an original member of the cast and has participated in all of the shows since the beginning.
The original cast has been joined over the years by a number of new cast members who have become experienced performers in their own right. Racheal Faulkner, LeighAnn Goodwin, Michelle Richard and Hollie Thompson are all part of the cast for 2016 and have experience as performers in previous editions of Christmas at Eastwood. LeighAnn, an alto, has been featured as a soloist in previous shows and will again be featured this year. Michelle Richard, a soprano, joined the cast several years ago and has been featured in solos in the past and will be a featured soloist for 2016.
Rounding out the vocal cast for 2016 will be Glenda Brown, Abby Faulkner and Alex Thompson who made their debut performing in the cast of Christmas at Eastwood in 2015.
Also joining Christmas at Eastwood for the first time in 2016 as instrumentalists will be Branton Tennison and Talon Keeney. Branton will play electric and acoustic guitar as well as sing in many of the numbers. Talon will play drums for the 2016 show and will also be a vocalist in many of the numbers.
The crew for 2016 includes Leighton Jones, one of the regular sound booth operators for Eastwood Baptist Church, who along with his wife, Shannon, will be doing lights for the show. Joining the group as sound operator for 2016 is KayLeigh Goodwin, another regular sound operator at Eastwood.
As always a number of people are involved behind the scenes in constructing, lighting and decorating the set. These volunteers are invaluable in putting on the production that is Christmas at Eastwood.
